# Ready Mix Driver I

About Us

What You'll Be Doing

  • Safely operate a ready mix truck to deliver concrete to customer job sites.
  • Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and daily vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation.
  • Deliver quality product on schedule while providing excellent customer service.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, plant personnel, and customers regarding deliveries.
  • Maintain compliance with company safety policies, DOT regulations, and operational procedures.

What Are We Looking For

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and ability to safely operate heavy equipment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, reliability, and responsible decision-making.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing delivery schedules.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills when interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to perform job duties in a physically active, outdoor work environment.

Conditions of Employment

  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
  • Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

  • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
