Caregiver – Part-Time (1st, 2nd & Weekend Shifts)

Assisting Hands Central Milwaukee

Location: Milwaukee, WI and surrounding areas

Schedule

  • 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
  • Weekend Shifts Available

Job Type: Part-time

Assisting Hands Central Milwaukee is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality in-home care to seniors and adults who need assistance with daily living activities. Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Offer companionship and emotional support
  • Prepare meals and assist with meal planning
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks
  • Provide medication reminders
  • Safely assist with transfers using Hoyer lifts and other mobility/transfer devices, when needed
  • Provide transportation to appointments, errands, and community activities
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment

Qualifications

  • Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required
  • Valid driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle required
  • Comfortable providing care for clients with varying levels of care needs
  • Comfortable working in homes with cats and dogs
  • Comfortable working with clients who smoke
  • Experience using Hoyer lifts and other transfer devices is preferred; training may be provided based on assignment
  • Reliable, punctual, compassionate, and committed to providing excellent care
  • Able to follow a care plan and communicate effectively
