Job Overview:
The Project Manager I will be responsible for assisting with the planning, execution, and closing of small to medium-sized construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to quality specifications.
Responsibilities:**
- Assist senior project managers and superintendents with project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and assist in developing solutions to keep projects on track.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, and budgets.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards on all project sites.
- Participate in project meetings, providing updates and contributing to problem-solving discussions.
- Assist in managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and processing invoices.
- Support the procurement of materials and equipment as needed.
- Contribute to the identification and mitigation of project risks.
- Learn and apply company project management methodologies and best practices.
Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 0-3 years of experience in project management, preferably within the construction or utility infrastructure industry.
- Basic understanding of construction principles, project scheduling, and budgeting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites as required.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
