Class A CDL Driver at Cornerstone Building Brands — Dunmore, PA

JOB DETAILS

Base pay starts at $30.00 Per Hour

Shift: Day Shift, Full Time

• Driving Long Distances: Transport goods to various destinations, often across state lines.
• 2 - 3 days OTR
• Cargo Management: Load, secure, and unload cargo safely.
• Documentation:Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of working hours and miles driven.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance of the truck to ensure it is in good

working condition.

• Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies.
• Route Planning: Use GPS and other tools to plan efficient routes.
• Communication: Coordinate with dispatchers and communicate effectively with clients and co-workers.
• Safety: Monitor traffic and weather conditions to ensure safe driving practices
• Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• Clean driving record.
• Minimum of two years experience as a truck driver, preferably with long-haul driving.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Willingness to tarp and strap flatbed loads.
• Experience operating trailer mounted forklift.
• Familiarity with electronic equipment and software, such as GPS and AVL units.
• Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including loading and unloading cargo

Position may require some off shift/overtime hours when needed for machine breakdowns or preplanned maintenance work (Saturdays when production is not running for example)
