Responsibilities
- Greet and assist golfers with merchandise selection, equipment, and golf shop inquiries
- Process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges accurately at the point of sale
- Maintain golf shop appearance, including merchandising, stocking, and inventory organization
- Manage tee time reservations and assist with scheduling for golfers
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on golf equipment, apparel, and accessories
- Support golf operations staff with daily course and pro shop needs
- Assist with receiving and processing new merchandise shipments
Requirements
- Previous retail, customer service, or golf industry experience preferred
- Genuine passion for golf and knowledge of the game
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and early morning shifts as needed
- Basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) system proficiency
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift merchandise as needed
