Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the senior technical authority for OEM Power Platform, SharePoint, Dataverse, and Microsoft 365 solution delivery.
  • Design enterprise-grade Power Platform solution architectures for Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Power Automate workflows, Dataverse, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams integration.
  • Lead Microsoft Graph API, third-party API, OAuth 2.0, and custom connector design patterns.
  • Establish Application Lifecycle Management practices including solution packaging, version control, environment management, deployment governance, and release controls.
  • Define Dev/UAT/Production environment strategy and ensure repeatable deployment processes.
  • Conduct technical design reviews, code/configuration reviews, architecture reviews, and performance optimization reviews.
  • Ensure solutions comply with DOI and Federal IT requirements including FISMA, NIST 800-series standards, CUI, privacy, least privilege, records management, Section 508, and WCAG 2.0 Level AA.
  • Guide maintainability standards, documentation requirements, knowledge transfer, and long-term OEM sustainment planning.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of Microsoft platform architecture, application modernization, or enterprise solution delivery experience.
  • Prior direct experience working with Department of the Interior IT programs.
  • Demonstrated experience architecting Microsoft Power Platform solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 services.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Graph API, REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, custom connectors, JSON, Power Fx, and integration patterns.
  • Experience implementing Power Platform ALM, solution packaging, environment strategies, version control, and production deployment controls.
  • Experience supporting secure Federal Microsoft 365 or cloud environments with accessibility, security, privacy, and documentation requirements.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DOI Public Trust suitability.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior Department of the Interior, Office of Emergency Management, Interior Business Center, DOI bureau, emergency management, continuity operations, or Federal Microsoft 365 modernization experience.
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (PL-600).
  • Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert, or TOGAF certification.
  • Experience with governance of mission-critical business applications used for incident reporting, watch operations, contact management, resource tracking, purchase tracking, budgeting, or emergency operations workflows.
