System of Systems Requirements EngineerThe Opportunity:
Are you looking for an opportunity to shape the future of integrated Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) capabilities supporting U.S. security cooperation efforts? As an Army C4I focused System of Systems (SoS) Requirements Engineer, you'll help define the technical foundation for complex defense capabilities that strengthen interoperability between the United States and its international partners.
In this role, you'll work alongside government engineers, operational stakeholders, and industry partners to transform mission needs into actionable system requirements for advanced C4I capabilities delivered through Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs. You'll lead requirements analysis efforts, decompose operational needs into system-level requirements, and develop the engineering artifacts that guide system design, integration, and acquisition. Your understanding of Army operational concepts, mission systems, and systems engineering principles will help ensure technical solutions align with customer objectives and deliver meaningful mission outcomes.

You Have:
- 7+ years of experience in systems engineering with an emphasis on requirements development and analysis
- Experience decomposing operational requirements into functional and system-level requirements for complex System of Systems (SoS) architectures, and working with Army tactical communications, mission command systems, mounted computing environments, or combat vehicle integration
- Experience using requirements management tools, including IBM DOORS, DOORS Next, Cameo Systems Modeler, or Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools
- Experience supporting requirements development throughout the systems engineering lifecycle, including Systems Engineering and Technical Review (SETR) events
- Experience evaluating Army operational needs and identifying technical solutions to satisfy mission requirements, and supporting C4I, tactical communications, mission command, or defense systems
- Experience collaborating with Army operational and acquisition stakeholders
- Knowledge of systems engineering principles, requirements management, architecture development, and requirements traceability
- Ability to collaborate with operational users, engineering teams, acquisition professionals, and government stakeholders to develop technically sound and mission-focused solutions
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field
Nice If You Have:
- Experience supporting Army acquisition organizations, including PEO C3N, PEO IEW&S, DEVCOM, or other Army modernization organizations
- Experience supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) or international security cooperation programs
- Knowledge of Operational Requirements Documents (ORDs), Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), Capability Development Documents (CDD), or Army capability development processes
- Top Secret clearance
- Master's degree in an Engineering field

Compensation
Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
