Position Overview

The Accounting & Office Administrator supports daily office operations and handles core accounting tasks under the direction of ownership/leadership. This is a great opportunity for someone with a few years of bookkeeping or office administration experience — ideally with construction exposure — who wants to grow into a larger accounting or operations role as the company scales.

Key Responsibilities

**Office Operations**

  • Support day-to-day office operations to keep things running smoothly
  • Keep the office organized and stocked with necessary tools and resources
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal team members and outside vendors/clients

**Accounting**

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Assist with payroll processing and data entry
  • Perform general ledger data entry and basic reconciliations
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements
  • Help prepare routine financial reports under guidance from leadership or an outside accountant/bookkeeper
  • Support tax prep and audits by organizing and pulling documentation as requested

**HR & Administrative Support**

  • Post job openings, schedule interviews, and help coordinate onboarding paperwork
  • Maintain accurate employee records and files
  • Help track employee benefits enrollment and basic compliance documentation
  • Provide administrative support to leadership: scheduling, correspondence, filing, and meeting coordination
  • Help coordinate company events, meetings, and trainings

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of experience in office administration and/or bookkeeping; construction industry exposure a plus, not required
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks (or similar accounting software) and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Comfortable multitasking and working both independently and as part of a small team

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary in the $60K–$75K range
  • Growth path toward a Senior Accountant / Office Manager role as you build experience
  • Hands-on mentorship from leadership
  • Collaborative, supportive team environment
