About the Role
As a Physical Therapy Technician at Quincy Medical Group, you will play an important role in supporting our rehabilitation team by assisting physical therapists with patient care, preparing treatment areas, and helping ensure an efficient therapy experience. You will work alongside experienced therapists to provide exceptional care while creating a welcoming environment for patients as they work toward improved mobility, strength, and function.

Schedule & Work Environment
- Full-time position, Monday-Friday.
- Department hours are 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM.
- Work schedule will vary based on clinic needs and will be discussed during the interview process.
- Fast-paced outpatient rehabilitation environment serving patients with orthopedic, neurologic, post-surgical, and other rehabilitation needs.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment areas, equipment, and supplies for patient therapy sessions.
- Assist physical therapists with patient flow and non-skilled treatment activities as directed.
- Escort patients throughout the therapy department and help ensure a positive patient experience.
- Clean, disinfect, and organize treatment rooms and rehabilitation equipment according to infection prevention standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stocking clinical supplies.
- Schedule appointments and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and support efficient clinic operations.
- Communicate professionally with patients, therapists, providers, and other members of the care team.
- Promote a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support rehabilitation services.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous healthcare, rehabilitation, athletic training, exercise science, customer service, or fitness experience preferred.
- Interest in physical therapy, rehabilitation, kinesiology, or a related healthcare field preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Ability to assist patients with mobility and perform tasks requiring standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the workday.
- CPR certification preferred or ability to obtain after hire.

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $16.12 - $24.18 per hour, with actual pay determined by experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
