Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and personal assistance to individuals in daily living activities
- Support clients with personal hygiene, grooming, meal preparation, and mobility
- Implement individualized care plans and document progress accurately
- Assist with medication management and health monitoring as directed
- Foster a safe, supportive, and positive environment for all clients
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and healthcare professionals
- Participate in behavioral support strategies and crisis intervention when needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior experience in direct care, personal care, or human services preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable work ethic
