About the Role
Crestview Physical and Aquatic Therapy LLC is looking for a passionate and skilled Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join their dedicated team in Crestview, FL. Responsibilities
- Implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Deliver therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and aquatic therapy interventions to patients
- Monitor and document patient progress, response to treatment, and functional improvements
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention techniques
- Collaborate with the PT and interdisciplinary team to adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with state and facility standards
- Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming therapy environment for all patients
Requirements
- Active Florida PTA license in good standing (or eligibility to obtain)
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic or aquatic therapy settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic exercise, modalities, and rehabilitation techniques
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented clinical environment
