Home Building Team Members build homes for families. Each department within the facility has specific tasks to perform to build a complete home. Every position follows standard production methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.

Floor Department Tasks

• Floor Framing
• Water Supply Line Design and Installation
• Drainage Line Design and Installation
• HVAC Duct Installation
• Carpet and Tile Installation
• Tubs, Showers, and Toilets Installation
• Furnace and Water Heater Installation

Essential Tool Knowledge

• Circular Saws
• Miter Saws
• Tape Measure
• Nail Guns

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Versatility and willingness to transfer into various departments when necessary.
• Must be able to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and lift at least 50lbs, as well as other physical duties as needed.
• You must be able to communicate efficiently and clearly with other Team Members.
• Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings greatly desired.
• Must be able to walk or stand at least 8 hours
• Bending, squatting, and stooping are required
• Must be able to lift above should level and reach to floor using proper lifting techniques
