Responsibilities
- Implement individualized ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect accurate and consistent data on client behavior and progress during each session
- Utilize positive reinforcement strategies to support skill acquisition and behavior reduction goals
- Assist clients in developing communication, social, daily living, and adaptive skills
- Maintain detailed session notes and documentation in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with supervisors, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support client outcomes
- Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision sessions
Requirements
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred
- Prior experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or developmental disabilities
- Strong data collection, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to follow detailed behavioral protocols and respond calmly in challenging situations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with clients, families, and team members
- Must be able to pass a background check and meet any state or agency compliance requirements
