Marketing Specialist at INNERGY — Austin, TX

Full-timeAustin, TXPosted 2026-08-04Apply on SmartRecruiters

Full job description

We're looking for a versatile, hands-on Marketing Specialist who thrives as a generalist and can move fluidly between product marketing content, web production, and performance channels. You'll be the kind of marketer who can write a compelling product page in the morning, build and publish it in WordPress over lunch, and optimize a paid search and social campaign by the afternoon. You're equally comfortable thinking about messaging and positioning as you are reading a CPL report.

This is a high-impact role for someone who wants ownership across the funnel and the chance to directly influence pipeline at a fast-growing vertical SaaS company. If you like wearing multiple hats, learning a niche industry deeply, and seeing your work drive measurable results, you'll fit right in.

Duties & Responsibilities include:

Product & content marketing

  • Translate product features and capabilities into clear, benefit-driven messaging that resonates with millwork and cabinetry business owners.
  • Write and produce marketing content across formats — landing pages, web copy, emails, case studies, one-pagers, ad copy, and campaign assets.
  • Partner with product and sales to keep positioning sharp and messaging consistent across the buyer journey.

Web production (WordPress)

  • Build, edit, and publish web pages in WordPress — from landing pages to product and resource pages — with an eye for layout, conversion, and on-page experience.
  • Maintain and improve the website over time: updating content, fixing issues, A/B testing, and ensuring pages stay fast, on-brand, and conversion-ready.

Paid social & paid search

  • Plan, launch, manage, and optimize paid campaigns across search (Google Ads) and social (LinkedIn, Meta, and others as relevant).
  • Own day-to-day campaign management: audiences, creative, budgets, bidding, and ongoing testing to improve cost-per-lead and ROAS.
  • Report on performance and translate results into clear next steps.

Demand generation

  • Support full-funnel demand gen programs that drive leads and pipeline — across email, webinars, events, content syndication, and nurture.
  • Help build and execute integrated campaigns from concept through measurement.
  • Track and report on funnel metrics, contributing to a continuous test-and-learn culture.

Knowledge and Preferred Qualifications:

  • Attention to detail sets you apart. You’ll be working across multiple projects at once, and get to be responsible for delivering them with a high standard of quality
  • You’re organized, efficient and deadline driven
  • Experience marketing to manufacturers, the construction/building products space, or other niche/vertical industries.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce).
  • Comfort with analytics tools (GA4, Google Search Console, Looker Studio) and ad platforms' native reporting.
  • Basic design or creative production skills (Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Experience with webinars, events, or field marketing.
  • Ability to travel for maximum of one week at a time. Both domestic and international travel may be required. A valid US passport will be required, if not already in place. Weekend travel may be required during conventions and shows.
  • Your position is not expected to require a significant amount of travel, but we expect that you might be on the road up to 20% of your time.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work / look at a monitor for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift 45lbs or less.
