Able Home Healthcare is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to join our growing team in San Diego, CA. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, health status, and changes in condition
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and their families
- Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders
- Support patient mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and supervisors regarding patient care updates
- Follow individualized care plans and maintain accurate patient documentation
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Current HHA certification or CNA license preferred
- Previous experience in home health, personal care, or a related caregiving role preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
