About The Position:

This position leads process improvement initiatives through the disciplined use of measurements, accountability, analysis and discussion of process alternatives to arrive at best practices. Plans, manages, and controls the activities of a team that provides operational support for a business segment, group or teams. Brings expertise and identifies subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts in process improvement, data capture and analysis, infrastructure support, tool ownership and compliance with procedures, etc. Advises business groups by providing strategic direction to initiative prioritization, integration and resource application.

Key responsibilities include:

## Manage coworkers who ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including updated corporate retention schedules

## Support and lead Enterprise Records Management's long-term records management strategy

## Support the development and application of the Policy-on-Policies and bring all corporate policies into compliance with said Policy

## Provide a framework for the creation, adoption, and lifecycle management of Ameren's institutional policies

## Create a repository where all Ameren employees can easily access policies

## Create a consistent look and feel, including but not limited to, purpose, revision date, approval date, policy owner, policy approver, next policy review cycle, and revision policy history/log

## Periodically evaluate the review cycle of a policy and approve and/or provide feedback on each policy

## Ensure enforcement of a consistent framework

## Serve on and actively support the Corporate Policy & Governance Committee with the overall policy lifecycle management

## Establish and maintain policies, procedures and monitoring for both the Enterprise Records Management Program and the Corporate Policy Program

## Report to appropriate leader/management on progress and overall participation in both Programs

## Responsible for complete lifecycle management of both physical and electronic records, to include:

## Capturing records, record coordinators and records custodians

## Storage of records in appropriate and secure manner

## Retention of records in accordance with corporate retention schedules and compliance

## Manage the retrieval and accessibility of records as required

## Proper destruction of records that are no longer required

## Support and understand legal hold processes

## Facilitate communications, training and change management throughout the organization in support of the Program

## Integrate with Enterprise Content Management efforts

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required, preferably in a business or technical discipline. Five or more years of related technical or professional experience in the field of document/records/data management and/or document/records/data compliance required. Additional experience in enterprise policy governance preferred. Supervisory or team leadership experience preferred. Certification in Records Management preferred (e.g. Certified Records Manager, Information Governance Professional). Electronic document management experience preferred (e.g. Sharepoint, Office 365).

Working knowledge of Records Management policies and procedures preferred. Excellent problem solving and customer service skills required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Ability to communicate to small and large audiences across all levels of employees required. High level of integrity required. Working knowledge of project management skills preferred.

Additional Information Ameren’s selection process includes a series of interviews and may include a leadership assessment process. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates.

Compensation Range:

$93,200.00 - $144,500.00
