Join the Global Video Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team and serve as a critical enabler of strategic decision-making within our high-growth Video Security & Analytics (VS&A) business unit. As the Global VS&A FP&A Manager, you won't just report numbers—you will contextualize complex financial data, shape long-range plans, and drive the financial narrative for one of Motorola Solutions' three primary technology pillars. You will lead the global Video FP&A team, transforming performance analysis into actionable insights that define our short-term execution and long-term future.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated leader with superb analytical acumen and exceptional communication skills to partner directly with key stakeholders on strategic forecasting, complex modeling, budgeting, and executive reporting.

This role will be on a hybrid schedule based out of our Chicago office, applicants should expect to be in office several times per month.

What you’ll do & more...

  • Global forecasting: Collaborate with sales, finance, and supply chain leaders to develop the global forecast for orders, revenue and gross margin
  • Scenario Planning: Coordinate scenario planning exercises across different business units and supply chain
  • Drive business performance insights: Perform analytics to enable key performance indicators (KPI) tracking for the Global Sales, Marketing and Sales Ops Organizations
  • Strategic investments: Identify risks and opportunities to budgets and work with business leaders to provide financial insights, assisting with decision making on strategic initiatives
  • AI & Digital Transformation: Develop tools to monitor forecast accuracy. Lead projects that will leverage AI and automation tools to expedite and deepen our internal forecasting processes and improve efficiencies allowing for scale and sustainability
  • Executive exposure: Prepare and lead executive level presentations
  • Other ad-hoc strategic analyses and work across the business, as necessary

Additional Skills:

  • 5+ years experience in client facing public accounting, corporate FP&A, or strategic finance at a high-growth startup or well established company
  • Exposure to Oracle, SAP, and/or other accounting systems
  • Business intelligence tools such as tableau dashboard reporting and/or Alteryx
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets modeling skills. Familiarity with building complex financial models and manipulating large datasets to help the company make strategic recommendations
  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Superb communication skills and the ability to work directly with upper management
  • Ability to work collaboratively to drive cross-functional execution on business goals
  • Elevated pride of ownership in work product
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves, be additive when and where you can, and support team tasks to help out the company when necessary

Target Base Salary Range: $120,000 - $135,000 USD

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting and 5+ years experience in public accounting, corporate finance, or strategic finance
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
