Full job description
Studio F is seeking enthusiastic and dependable individuals to support our special events production team. This role is physically demanding and requires a hands-on approach to event setup, logistics, and execution. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is solution-oriented, and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in special events, live production, or warehouse operations.
Reporting to the Director of Studio F Designs, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Follow directions accurately and listen actively to team leaders and supervisors.
- Work cooperatively as part of a team to ensure smooth event execution.
- Use hand and power tools (training provided) to assist in event setup and breakdown.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing, balancing, stooping, and carrying event materials.
- Work on your feet for extended periods (up to 8 hours/day) in indoor and outdoor environments, sometimes in varied weather conditions.
- Assist with truck loading and unloading, warehouse coordination, and product handling.
- Hauling equipment, décor, and other various sized objects.
- Installing and striking décor and other various special event equipment.
- Cleaning up worksites from debris and machinery.
- Support on-site production and logistics as directed by Studio General Manager or crew lead.
- Maintain a disciplined and efficient workflow with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Consistently deliver quality work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions.
- Provide courteous and professional service to both internal teams and external clients.
- Communicate clearly and maintain strong working relationships with clients, partners, and colleagues.
- 2–3 years of experience in the special events, live event production, or DMC industry preferred.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds etc.)
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Warehouse inventory or equipment coordination
- Previous work in a build shop or crew/warehouse environment.
- Strong understanding of logistics and the movement of people, equipment, and event materials.
- Ability to remain flexible and pivot roles based on changing business levels and program needs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Highly reliable, responsible, and detail oriented.
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- May require lifting up to 50 pounds
- Long periods of standing and or sitting
