New College Graduate Failure Analysis Engineer at Renesas Electronics — Palm Bay, FL

We are seeking an enthusiastic, fast-learning individual who will collaborate closely with experienced engineers and technicians on analyzing, root causing, and reporting on a variety of semiconductor products. As a new team member with our team, you can expect to learn the basic failure analysis flows and gain experience with the use of optical and acoustic microscope, 3D x-ray tomography, photon emission and thermal microscopy, scanning electron microscopy and a variety of lab bench instrumentation. This equipment will be used to support both customers in the field as well as new product development teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Experience with electrical bench or instrument control work is ideal.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be an initiative-taking team player who is able to take direction, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and communicate effectively.
• US citizen or a green card is required.
