South Haven Creations is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Venue Attendant to join our team. The Venue Attendant is responsible for maintaining the venue’s appearance and overall readiness before, during, and after events, ensuring that our property is clean, safe, and guest-ready at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
• Grounds & Facility Upkeep: Mow and maintain the grounds; blow leaves and debris from ceremony sites, walkways, patios, and parking areas; and clean out and prepare the outdoor fireplace.
• Event Support: Assist with venue setup and teardown for all events.
• Furnishings Management: Straighten, clean, stack, and store ceremony chairs; move ceremony arbors and other venue furnishings as needed.
• Cleaning & Maintenance: Mop floors and maintain indoor spaces; clean and restock restrooms.
• Property Oversight: Proactively identify maintenance issues and report necessary repairs to ensure the venue remains in top condition for our guests.
Schedule & Requirements:
• Availability: Weekend availability is required. Shifts are generally 1:00 PM to Midnight on weekends, with additional shifts available during the day on weekdays.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and moving furniture.
• Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for event guests.
• Hourly Wage: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and mechanical/groundskeeping capability.
