As a DevOps engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll help streamline the software development lifecycle, from requirements to monitoring in production. You’ll incorporate open-source tools, automation, and cloud resources to cut down on tedious tasks and free up the team’s developers to do what they do best—create. You’ll work with the team to implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) to limit manual testing and troubleshooting. You Have:
- 2+ years of experience automating CI/CD pipelines with tools, including Jenkins or GitLab
- 2+ years of experience automating infrastructure provisioning with tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform
- 2+ years of experience with configuration management tools
- Experience working with application development teams across the software development lifecycle and creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment
- Experience with containerization tools, including Kubernetes or Docker
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and Linux Shell Script
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT Level II or IAT Level III Certification within 30 days of hire date
Nice If You Have:
- Experience hosting applications on commercial cloud providers, including AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience with Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Maven, Gradle, or NPM
- Knowledge of creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks
- Knowledge of triaging and resolving issues related to both open-source and commercial tools in public cloud environments

Compensation
Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
