About the Role
Compassionate Senior Companions Inc is looking for a dedicated and caring Home Care Aide to join our team in Downingtown, PA. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support to elderly and senior clients
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, vacuuming, and tidying living spaces
- Assist with medication reminders and monitor client health and well-being
- Transport or accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social activities
- Document and report any changes in client condition to supervisors or care coordinators
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Home Care Aide, Caregiver, CNA, or in a related personal care role preferred
- Genuine compassion, patience, and empathy when working with elderly clients
- Ability to assist with physical tasks including lifting, transferring, and mobility support
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
- Must pass a background check and any required state clearances in Pennsylvania
