Key Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute business strategies to expand AECOM’s environmental compliance services.
  • Maintain and grow existing client relationships while identifying new opportunities in the public and private sectors.
  • Leverage an existing book of clients to generate sales and secure high-value environmental projects.
  • Work closely with internal teams to develop and present proposals, technical solutions, and service offerings.
  • Negotiate contracts and service agreements to align with client needs and financial objectives.
  • Provide industry insight and stay updated on environmental regulations, compliance standards, and emerging trends.
  • Support cross-business collaboration to provide integrated environmental solutions across multiple sectors.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets while contributing to the long-term strategic vision of AECOM.

About AECOM’s Environment Business Line

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, business, or related field.
  • 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education in managing client accounts, sales and drive business development initiatives within environmental compliance services.
  • Travel of 25-50% will be required, as this is a client facing role.
  • Valid US Driver's License and pre-employment driving record verification are required.
  • Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree is highly preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in account management, sales, and environmental compliance services.
  • Experience leading large-scale environmental compliance projects.
  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations, permitting, and compliance.
  • Established industry relationships with clients in government, energy, commercial, and industrial sectors.
  • Experience in contract negotiations, sales forecasting, and revenue management.
  • Ability to work in a matrixed organization, coordinating across multiple teams and disciplines.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, data analytics, and sales tracking platforms.
