Job Overview:
Job Summary The General Foreman at Primoris Energy Services is responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily construction activities on the 24005 Rayburn project, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise a team of craft workers, foremen, and subcontractors on the job site.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily work activities to ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Monitor and enforce strict safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans, and effectively communicate these to the team.
- Conduct regular inspections of work in progress to ensure quality control and compliance with project requirements.
- Manage equipment and material allocation, ensuring resources are available when needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues and challenges in a timely and effective manner.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Provide regular progress reports to project management.
- Train and mentor crew members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in construction, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory role as a General Foreman or similar.
- Proven experience in energy services or industrial construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project planning, scheduling, and resource management.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred; commitment to safety is paramount.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
