URGENTLY HIRING SHORT TERM LIVE IN CAREGIVER

Homewatch CareGivers of Cape May is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aide to provide essential support and care to an individual as a live in caregiver in their home. This case is a short term case of 2 weeks from August 28th until September 4th (approximate date range). We are seeking this caregiver for a client in Ocean City. As a Live in Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for patients by assisting with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, and promoting their overall well-being. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care.

Duties Include:

  • Assist client with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to client, fostering a positive environment.
  • Monitor and document client health status and any changes in condition.
  • Maintain accurate documentation as required by healthcare protocols.
  • Administer basic first aid and CPR when necessary, ensuring patient safety at all times.
  • Assist with memory care activities for patient experiencing cognitive challenges.
  • Launder patient clothing and bedding as needed to maintain hygiene standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Experience

  • Active HHA Certification is required.
  • Previous experience in live in role, caregiving or home health aide role is required.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices is highly desirable
  • Experience in long-term care settings is a plus, especially for those working with elderly or disabled patients.
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid is advantageous.
  • Strong observational skills to recognize changes in patient conditions effectively.

Salary starting $1,400.00 weekly.
