Job Description Summary:

The National Asset Specialist is responsible for all aspects of equipment management for the company. Perform remote pump management duties for all assigned sites including pump pickups, monitoring and taking action on pump reports, patient transfers, preventative maintenance management, and marking pumps lost using proper processes. Communicate with VPO, DO, Pharmacy Team Members and leadership, and local warehouse staff on equipment status and provide guidance on how to improve the sites’ pump management program. Communication will include proper use of OneTrack, Pumps not dispensed in over 30 days, pumps needing preventative maintenance within 60 days, and feedback on other various pump management processes and reportsJob Description:

  • Responsible for remotely managing pump pick-ups, including outreach to patients and proper documentation of all attempts.
  • Responsible for proper tracking and reporting of lost pumps and patient billing for lost pumps.
  • Monitor and correct local sites One Track for pump assigning issues, therapy end dates, and pump billing process.
  • Provide guidance and suggestions to local sites’ teams to further improve performance of pump management program.
  • Monitors and reports weekly on sites doing a pump scan 3 times a week and bimonthly accessory scans.
  • This includes moving the accessories to the lost bin when reconciling the bimonthly storage bin scans.
  • Work directly with outside vendor (McKesson) with any pump management issues with the OneTrack system.
  • Will be required to participate in and have camera on for periodic pump management calls as well as any other related calls that will be needed over time – including ad-hoc training calls with local sites to provide enforcement of policy and procedures.
  • Observes legal and ethical guidelines for safeguarding the confidentiality of patient and proprietary Option Care information.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.
  • Accepts other responsibilities and duties that may be assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of at least 1 year of related asset management experience

Basic Qualifications & Interests

  • Ability to plan, organize and manage multiple assignments, under time constrains while maintaining high quality work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations.
  • Experience communicating both verbally on phone, one-on-one and in writing emails, letters, reports, to various audiences work group, team, company management, external vendors.
  • Basic level PC skills (for example: start up and shut down computer, use mouse to point and click, start and close programs, switch between programs, save files, print documents, access information on-line, etc).
  • Basic email skills, internet explorer (sending, receiving, and organizing communications), MS Excel and Word.

Travel Requirements: (if required)

  • Willing to travel up to 10% of the time

Home infusion and asset management experience preferred

Prior experience working in a warehouse or delivery setting.

Pay Range is $21.07-$35.12
