As we continue to grow, we are looking for a strategic technology partner who can help us build systems that improve communication, increase efficiency, and enhance the family experience through automation and innovative technology.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Strategic Technology & Digital Innovation Consultant to help Big Ideas design and implement technology solutions that improve communication, automate processes, and support future organizational growth.

This is not a traditional website maintenance position. Instead, we're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, streamlining workflows, and introducing technologies that help organizations operate more efficiently.

Compensation

• Independent Contractor (1099)
• Part-time, as needed
• Hourly compensation based on experience
• Opportunity for long-term partnership as Big Ideas continues to grow

Responsibilities

The consultant may assist with:

Communication Automation

• Develop automated email workflows.
• Design parent communication journeys.
• Build newsletter automation.
• Automate enrollment communications.
• Create email sequences for families and staff.

Website & Systems Integration

• Integrate website forms with communication platforms.
• Connect CRM, registration, and communication tools.
• Improve website functionality through automation.
• Recommend technology solutions that reduce manual work.

SMS & Parent Engagement

• Implement SMS/text messaging solutions.
• Automate reminders and notifications.
• Improve family communication systems.

Artificial Intelligence

• Recommend AI tools to improve organizational efficiency.
• Explore AI-assisted parent support.
• Identify automation opportunities using AI.

Digital Strategy

• Develop a technology roadmap.
• Recommend scalable solutions.
• Evaluate emerging technologies.
• Help prioritize future technology initiatives.

Future Initiatives

• Mobile application planning.
• Communication platform recommendations.
• Digital engagement strategy.
• Technology consulting for organizational growth.

Qualifications

We're looking for someone with experience in several of the following:

• Website integrations
• Marketing automation
• CRM implementation
• Email automation platforms
• SMS communication systems
• API integrations
• AI tools and automation
• WordPress
• Mobile application planning
• Digital strategy
• Technology consulting

Experience with platforms such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact, HubSpot, Brevo, Twilio, Zapier, Make, or similar automation tools is highly desirable.
