Responsibilities
- Greet and onboard new patients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming intake process
- Schedule and confirm new patient appointments, managing the dental practice calendar efficiently
- Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and medical history forms
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow and communication
- Follow up with prospective patients via phone, email, and text to convert inquiries into scheduled appointments
- Explain treatment plans, financial options, and dental insurance benefits to new patients
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental practice management software
Requirements
- Previous experience in a dental office or healthcare front desk role preferred
- Familiarity with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of dental insurance verification and billing processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a busy dental environment
- Bilingual skills a plus, reflecting the diverse community we serve
- High school diploma or equivalent required; dental assisting or administrative certification a bonus
