Renesas Electronics, a leading global semiconductor company, is rapidly scaling its AI-focused power delivery business. Products include high-performance digital power VRMs, multiphase controllers, Smart Power Stages (SPS), Vertical Power Stages (SPS with integrated capacitors and multiple silicon die), Power Towers (power modules integrating multiple SPS-equivalents with capacitors and inductors), and power MOSFETs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead NPI definition of next gen multi-phase AI power module products:
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, software, and systems engineering, to integrate power modules into larger electrical systems and align on thermal and power requirements.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Present next-generation product updates and proposals to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal and external manufacturing partners to prototype designs and transition them into production.
  • Engineering Samples & NPI Management:
  • Assess the suitability of existing materials for customer samples.
  • Ensure proper governance through NPI planning gates and readiness reviews.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership & Governance:
  • Act as a single point of new product coordination across: Product Line Management, Design Engineering, Quality, Packaging team, Internal and External manufacturing teams
  • Escalate critical issues with data-driven recommendations.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in product management or product definer within power electronics or infrastructure markets.
  • 3+ years of experience in power module engineering teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
