Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce precision parts and components
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to determine machining specifications
• Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and cutting parameters for each job
• Perform in-process quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
• Troubleshoot machine issues and make program adjustments to ensure dimensional accuracy
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with shop safety standards
• Perform routine machine maintenance and report any equipment issues to supervisors

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist in a machine shop or industrial manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in CNC programming, setup, and operation (mill and/or lathe)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings
• Experience with precision measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical training in machining preferred
