You Will Make an Impact By:
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of manufacturing equipment, CNC machines, automation systems, vacuum systems, and facility support equipment.
- Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) activities according to established schedules.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime through rapid root cause identification and corrective actions.
- Assist with installation, qualification, and commissioning of new equipment.
- Validate equipment functionality and production readiness.
- Coordinate with equipment manufacturers and service providers during major repairs.
- Travel Requirements: Up to5% of Travel is required.
Skills You Bring:
- Associate degree, military technical training or their equivalent vocational training is required
- 2+ years of related experience required
- Advanced mechanical troubleshooting.
- Electrical troubleshooting (24VDC, 120VAC, 480VAC systems).
- Reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
- Pneumatic and hydraulic system maintenance.
- Sensor, motor, VFD, and servo system troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical troubleshooting ability
- Maintenance management software (CMMS)
- Strong communication skills.
- Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time
- Regularly requires good manual dexterity and coordination
- Occasionally moves/positions objects up to 50 pounds
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time
Compensation and Benefits: Hourly Pay Range: $22.50 - 37.50 USD Hourly. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.
Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].
