Are you energetic, great with kids, and passionate about making a difference? Soccer Shots — the nation's #1 youth soccer enrichment program — is looking for a Children's Soccer Instructor to serve children ages 2–10 across Downey, Norwalk, and surrounding communities.
We combine expertly designed curriculum, best-in-class coaching, and strong family communication to deliver an experience that builds confidence, character, and a love for the game. If you have a background in early childhood education, childcare, or youth sports — we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
• Coach 4–15 fun, engaging soccer sessions per week for children ages 2–10
• Deliver our expertly designed, age-appropriate curriculum — provided for you!
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• Represent Soccer Shots as a trusted presence in schools and community spaces across Downey and Norwalk
Schedule & Commitment:
- Saturday mornings are required
- Weekday shifts available Monday–Friday between 8:00 AM–6:00 PM based on your availability
- Ideal availability: 2–4 weekdays plus Saturday mornings
• Same locations, same times each week — once your schedule is set, it stays consistent
- Minimum 1-year commitment required
Who You Are
• Passionate about working with children and child development
• Safety-conscious — the safety of every child is your #1 priority
• Caring, energetic, and engaging with an outgoing personality
• Responsible and committed — you don't need constant oversight
• Prior experience working with children ages 2–5 and/or Early Childhood Education units strongly recommended
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required
- Ability to travel between program sites across Long Beach and Southeast LA
Compensation & Benefits:
• $20.00–$22.00 per hour based on experience

This is a part-time position. All offers are contingent on a cleared background check, as required for all team members working with children.
