Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set-up and operate transfer press and injection molding machines.
• Priming of product as required
• Verification of quality
• ERP Transactions necessary to move a product
• Mold and tooling care
• Mold and manufacture quality parts
• Work with the Supervisor to identify and resolve any disciplinary actions
• Work with Manufacturing Engineering to improve processes and procedures

Education and Experience:

• Ability to apply common sense in performing job
• Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to use basic high school math skills
• 1 years Molding Experience or equivalent manufacturing work experience
• Computer Experience using word processing software/ERP systems
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints.
• Must be able to use basic measuring tools (Calipers and Drop Indicators)

Physical Demands:

• Able to lift 50lbs. rarely, 20-30lbs. occasionally
• Able to stand or sit for long periods
• Good hand dexterity
• Must be willing to work with chemicals and solvents

Work Environment:

Factory environment

Personal Protective Equipment:

• Use of safety glasses
• Use of steel protective shoes or protective shoe covers
