Exercise senior level discretionary authority to:

  • Manage the process for developing new business, by developing and then maintaining relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Identify, pursue, and close on business development opportunities, including cross-selling, leading effective job pitches and presentations.
  • Manage Cost Center team in the delivery of professional project management, cost management and project controls consultancy services for pharmaceutical clients. Ensure compliance with the business methodologies and client satisfaction throughout service delivery. Undertake client care surveys to monitor performance.
  • Staff management- identify resource needs to meet business goals & deliver commissions, perform recruitment interviews, and undertake staff performance reviews in addition to making decisions relating to hiring and firing of subordinate staff.
  • Financial management- oversee and track margin levels, maintain monthly fee and resource forecasts for each commission. Manage and direct team members in their use of Financial Management Systems for revenue, cost and profit forecasting. Manage debt
  • Manage large teams of 60+ professionals delivering project management, cost management and project controls services.
  • Manage, oversee, and direct the Cost Center Team’s compliance with Business Management Systems including operational policies, commission management, risk management reviews of contracts, NDA and insurances, anti-bribery and corruption, and health & safety procedures.
  • Serve as senior-level technical knowledge resource regarding project management, cost management and project controls service offerings.
  • Provide senior-level technical knowledge in the delivery of life science sector cost validation services, bring expertise in estimating, benchmarking, and data analytics.
  • Serve as senior-level technical expert for economic forecast and market intelligence publications.
  • Direct the work of the Cost Center Team to ensure that commissions are on time in line with contractual commitments, deliverables are being met, profit and fee targets are achieved, and business processes are being adopted.
  • Process improvement- identify, develop, and improve internal project and cost management systems, processes, procedures, templates and products.

Sr. Project Manager or any other job title performing the following job duties:

  • Leading project management commissions, taking responsibility for end to end service delivery, for large complex programs and projects.
  • Acting as the key day to day client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards.
  • Advising at a strategic level during the project conception stage, including providing advice on the different approaches that can be adopted in order to successfully achieve the client’s overall objectives.
  • Leading the establishment of the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters. Establishing effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilized throughout project.
  • Project planning and scheduling, including ensuring the production of the detailed project plan and regular reporting and maintenance throughout the project life cycle.
  • Advising upon the procurement of resources and vendors. Leading and facilitating the overall cross-functional project team including managing the flow of project information between the team and client, through regular meetings and written communications.
  • Managing the change control process including reporting to the cost management team.
  • Monitoring and advising on upon project finances and working with the cost manager throughout the duration of the project.
  • Ensuring the production of formal project progress and other reports, including taking a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages.

JOB TIME: Full Time

SALARY RANGE: $242,000.00 to $250,000.00/year

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Management and 8 years of experience in job offered or 8 years of experience in the Related Occupation
