We are a manufacturing company in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, USA, looking for a new member of our engineering and QMS team. We are a small company, so this position is ideal for someone who likes taking on new challenges and having each day run differently. We are looking for someone reliable, with a good attitude, to help us grow. The engineering tasks are basic, and we will train this employee on engineering and QMS on our products and services.
Key duties include:
-Overseeing our ISO and QMS efforts. Candidates MUST have quality management experience
-Talking with customers via phone and email to gather details about their potential projects
-Sourcing materials for new products
-Reading drawings and extracting key details from them
-Creating new drawings in CAD or SolidWorks to draw small plastic parts
-Work with die and mold makers, through drawings, to create new tooling for small plastic parts
-Work within the parameters of ISO quality program
Required Experience and Skills:
-5 years of experience with a quality management system
-AutoCAD / AutoDesk
-Solidworks
-Microsoft Office
-Drawing file experience (DWG, PDF, STP, STL, etc.)
This position is NOT remote, work would take place at our office in Elk Grove Village, IL.
