## About Us

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a motivated and safety-focused Utility Person to support daily quarry operations. This role is responsible for assisting with maintenance, housekeeping, production support, and general site activities that contribute to a safe and efficient operation.

## What You'll Be Doing

• Perform site housekeeping and cleanup to maintain a safe and organized quarry environment.
• Operate a haul truck to move materials from the pit to the plant in a safe and efficient manner to support production.
• Assist with equipment maintenance, repairs, and inspections to support operational reliability.
• Support production activities by moving materials, tools, and supplies as needed.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and operating procedures while contributing to team goals.

• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, and working outdoors.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn maintenance and quarry operations tasks.

• Ability to communicate effectively and work independently with minimal supervision.

## Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

## Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
