INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY - Customer Support Group Coordinator (Hybrid) — Carson, CA
Full job description
In this role, you’ll be the organized center of gravity for our Customer Support Group—the person who keeps installation and service projects moving smoothly from start to finish. You’ll coordinate internal teams and outside vendors, keep project records and finances accurate, arrange travel and resources, and make sure everyone involved has the right information at the right time. It’s a fast-paced, wear-many-hats role for someone who loves bringing order to a lot of moving parts—and your work helps get the products that support teachers, families, and children exactly where they need to be.
Please note that this position is open to internal candidates only. External candidates who apply will not be considered for this role.
A day on the job looks like this:
- Help book and coordinate installation and service projects from start to finish—tracking timelines and quality, and flagging issues early so delivery stays smooth
- Coordinate internal labor and scheduling across multiple concurrent projects, and arrange employee travel including flights, hotels, and rental cars
- Work with third-party vendors to arrange and book services, and serve as a reliable day-to-day point of contact for labor teams and service providers
- Keep project records accurate and up to date in Salesforce—labor assignments, service bookings, and order details—and reconcile orders as each project wraps
- Handle the numbers behind each project: process payroll, mileage, and expense reimbursements for the internal labor team, reconcile vendor invoices, and track expenses to help keep projects on budget
- Keep everyone in the loop—share employee updates on process, training, and project details, coordinate cross-team meetings, and write clear, professional correspondence for internal and external partners
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of project or operations coordination experience
- 1–2 years of administrative or professional office experience, ideally including customer service
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication
Preferred
- Knowledge of Salesforce.com and SAP
- A college degree
