Full job description

Do you have delivery experience from Amazon, UPS, USPS, Uber, Door-Dash, SPARK, or similar??? APB Logistics Inc. is an Independent Service Provider for FedEx Ground servicing Gainesville and surrounding areas. We are looking to hire a PACKAGE DELIVERY DRIVER to operate company owned delivery vans out of the FedEx Ocala, FL based terminal. We are looking for motivated and dependable individuals with delivery experience to work as part of a team!

PAY: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour.

Weekend availability (Saturday & Sunday) is required

Work Hours: Start time of 7:30am with typical end time between 5:00pm and 6:00pm

Delivery experience is required! Uber, Door-Dash, SPARK, or similar experience is acceptable. FedEx, Amazon, UPS, USPS experience is a PLUS!!

This is a physical job and requires that the delivery driver lift/maneuver heavy packages and get in and out of the truck many times each day.

JOB DESCRIPTION & BENEFITS

  • Weekend availability required – Saturdays & (some) Sundays

• Prior delivery driving experience IS required

  • Amazon, FedEx, UPS, USPS experience is a PLUS!
  • Overtime for hours worked over 40-hours per work week applies

DRIVER QUALIFICATIONS & BENEFITS:  Must meet ALL of the following criteria (NO EXCEPTIONS):

  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record
  • Must be able to pass a Drug Test
  • Applicants must be 21 years of age or older
  • Physically able to lift 50 lb unassisted and handle packages up to 150 lbs with dolly, potentially up stairs
  • Physically able to get into and out of delivery van multiple times per day
  • Have dependable transportation
  • The ability to locate suburban addresses using GPS and/or maps is a must

DRIVER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Possess a good sense of direction and the ability to work quickly, productively, independently, respectfully, safely, and responsibly
  • Make designated stops and designated pick-ups
  • Verify paperwork via electronic device for deliveries and pick-ups
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Work safely to prevent injury to yourself, to others, and damage to products and property
