# Key Responsibilities
•
## Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state practice acts, plan of care, and company policies
•
## Help optimize functional mobility, independence, and quality of life for members of the aging population
•
## Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner
•
## Participate in required orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education
•
## In collaboration with the Director of Rehabilitation, develop robust therapy program
•
## Provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants as indicated
•
## Follow all infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines
•
## Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and effectively prioritize patient care
•
## Support compliance with all state and federal regulations
•
## Perform duties that may involve moderate to heavy physical demands
•
## Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned
# Qualifications
•
## Current or eligible Physical Therapist license in the state of practice
•
## Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program
•
## If foreign-trained, degree must be evaluated as equivalent to U.S. entry-level PT education by an APTA-approved credentialing agency
