Parts Expeditor at Bosch-HomeComfort — Park City, KS

The Expediter position is responsible for creating, tracking, maintenance and expediting of purchase orders and kit production orders for Source 1. Must work closely with Source 1 Account Representatives, buyers, schedulers, outside suppliers and Ducted Systems plants. Specific duties include:

• Working and tracking expedite requests from account reps through the Source 1 on-line expedite report. Adhering to all Source 1 policies and service levels regarding the online expedite report
• Maintaining accurate and timely purchase order data
• Interfacing with both outside suppliers and UPG plant personnel during the expedite process to ensure timely delivery of product
• Creating purchase orders
• Faxing/emailing purchase orders to appropriate suppliers
• Assisting in resolution of receiving and accounting issues
• Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

• High School or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in purchasing, expediting, supply chain, customer service, inventory management, or a related operational role

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree and 2 years experience preferred
• SAP Experience preferred
• Excellent communication, organizational, multi-tasking and planning skills
• MS Office applications

Work Environment

• Regular operation of order pickers and forklifts, including extended time at elevated heights
• Warehouse/dock environment that is not climate-controlled
• Physically active role requiring equipment operation, material handling, and situational awareness
