Job Summary

Clinical Massage Therapy is seeking a skilled, confident Massage Therapist with strong deep tissue skills to join our clinical team.

Previous medical massage experience is not required. We are looking for a therapist who already has a strong foundation in hands-on therapeutic massage and is comfortable performing consistent deep tissue work. We will provide training in our medical massage protocols, documentation standards, treatment planning, and working with patients who have injuries, chronic pain, or physician-prescribed care.

This position is ideal for a therapist who enjoys problem-solving, anatomy, and results-oriented bodywork and wants to expand their skills into a more clinical style of massage therapy.

Candidates should be comfortable integrating techniques such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and myofascial release while adapting pressure and treatment to each patient's needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide therapeutic massage customized to each client's chief complaint, treatment goals, and tolerance.
  • Perform consistent, effective deep tissue massage as part of 45-, 60-, 90-, and 120-minute treatment sessions.
  • Integrate deep tissue techniques, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and other therapeutic techniques as appropriate.
  • Learn and apply Clinical Massage Therapy's medical massage protocols for patients receiving treatment under a physician's prescription.
  • Work confidently with clients experiencing acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain, injuries, and post-surgical conditions within the therapist's scope of practice and training.
  • Maintain excellent time-management skills, including arriving punctually for scheduled shifts and beginning and ending treatments on time.
  • Complete accurate and detailed SOAP notes and other required documentation by the end of the workday.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding treatment goals, progress, maintenance care, and self-management.
  • Build professional relationships with clients and help them work toward their pain-management and wellness goals.
  • Communicate promptly and professionally through company email and internal chat.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe treatment rooms and common areas.
  • Follow all company policies, clinical standards, rules, and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Current authorization/certification required to legally practice massage therapy.
  • Strong deep tissue massage skills are required.
  • Ability to provide consistent therapeutic pressure throughout a full massage schedule.
  • Strong working knowledge of anatomy and the musculoskeletal system.
  • Experience with or a strong foundation in trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and therapeutic massage techniques.
  • Comfortable performing 45-, 60-, 90-, and 120-minute massage treatments.
  • Interested in learning medical massage, injury-focused treatment, and more advanced clinical massage techniques.
  • Comfortable working with clients experiencing significant pain, recent injuries, or a history of surgery.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively in a busy clinical environment.
  • Strong service orientation and ability to communicate professionally with clients one-on-one.
  • High level of ethics, professionalism, and integrity.
  • Passion for helping people manage acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain.
  • Willingness to learn, receive feedback, and develop new clinical skills as part of an integrated team.

What We Provide

  • Hands-on training in medical massage and Clinical Massage Therapy's treatment protocols.
  • Training in clinical documentation and SOAP notes.
  • Opportunities to expand your knowledge of injury-focused and pain-management massage.
  • A team-based clinical environment with opportunities for continued professional development.
  • An established client base with patients actively seeking therapeutic and medical massage care.

Full-time and part-time shifts are available.
