Master Automotive Technician

Job Overview:

We are looking for technicians who are passionate about their career. The technicians we are looking for have to seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what’s right for our guests.

  • Technicians use their knowledge & skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for our guest
  • Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
  • Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
  • Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively
  • Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
  • Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate concerns
  • Work together with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results

Qualifications

  • Experienced Master Certified L1, or Seeking an L1 Certificate
  • Have a CLEAN driving record
  • Expert Drivability/diagnostic technical
  • Electrical experience with all makes and models
  • 15+ years of PROFESSIONAL experience as an automotive technician/mechanic required
  • Willing to help train/mentor other team members
  • Positive attitude and a desire to serve guests
  • Capable of diagnosing and repairing all years/makes/models of vehicles
  • Meet or exceed hourly goals
  • Aptitude for learning additional OEM Scan tool systems
  • Professional appearance and strong communication
  • A desire for long-term career development

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasionally lift and/or move over 30 pounds
  • Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
  • Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair
  • Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
  • Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
  • Drive manual transmissions vehicles
  • Efficiently navigate a computer
