Full job description

The Outbound Operations Manager at Arvato manages daily production and distribution activities for the entire facility. The Outbound Operations Manager must display a thorough understanding of the customer requisition process, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, reliability, and cost objectives. Additionally, they will be responsible for overseeing the front-end staff involved in this process, necessitating strong leadership and organizational skills to ensure seamless operations.

YOUR TASKS

  • Monitor and adjust processes to meet production schedules, due dates, priorities, shipping requirements, and handle peak volumes.
  • Recommend improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and product quality, while ensuring compliance with production, quality, reliability, and safety standards.
  • Provide support and training on company policies to employees.
  • Monitor time and attendance records of direct reports.
  • Develop employees through performance reviews, ongoing training, and by managing the hiring process, evaluations, disciplinary actions, and performance counseling.
  • Execute all business review preparation, responsible for all action logs and items resulting from business reviews.
  • Serve as key communication link between operations and all customers.
  • Create or use existing metrics to verify operation is under control.
  • Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Follow and maintain 5S Program and guidelines.
  • Any additional tasks that may be assigned to ensure an efficient, safe, clean, and goal-oriented work environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Must possess ability to function in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment.
  • Experience developing, motivating, and leading cross functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications / Skills:

  • Customer service and operation experience.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with ability to interact easily with individuals at all levels and functions, both within and outside the organization.
  • Must be motivated, analytical, and articulate.
  • Proactive in driving improvement processes.
  • 1-3 yrs experience with SAP
