Full job description
Work directly with the Quality department under mentorship of a senior engineer to ensure qualitycompliance and standards. This position will be exposed to all quality activities within the organization;participating in audits, data collection, process improvement, and training and development. #CPE
Principle Duties (includes, but is not limited to): Support Quality Assurance Activities
- Assist in the development and execution of quality control plans and inspection procedures.
- Participate in audits and inspections of manufacturing processes and finished goods.
- Root Cause Investigation & Corrective Actions
- Support investigations into customer-reported quality issues.
- Assist in identifying root causes using tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, or Failure Mode and
- Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Help implement and track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to ensure resolution and prevent
- recurrence.
- Data Collection and Analysis
- Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends, deviations, and opportunities for improvement.
- Use statistical methods to evaluate process capability and product performance.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
- Prepare reports and presentations for internal quality reviews and customer communications.
- Process Improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing and quality processes.
- Participate in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement initiatives.
- Compliance and Standards
- Ensure compliance with ISO9001:2015 standards, customer requirements, and internal procedures.
- Participate in internal audits and support external audit readiness.
- Training and Development
- Attend training sessions on quality systems, tools, and company-specific procedures.
- Shadow experienced engineers to gain hands-on experience in quality engineering practices.
