Bilingual Billing and Payroll Assistant
Join JAC Metal as a Bilingual Billing and Payroll Assistant supporting accurate invoicing, payroll documentation, and accounting administration for our growing team.
Location: Poolville, TX Position Type: Full-time, in-office position Pay: $17–$21 per hour (depending on experience) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. (CST) Probationary Period: 90 days from date of hire. Employees may become eligible for additional training and system access after successfully completing the probationary period.

The details below outline the day-to-day responsibilities, qualifications, and benefits for this position. POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking a detail-oriented Bilingual Billing and Payroll Assistant to support invoicing, payroll-related documentation, data entry, and day-to-day accounting administration for JAC Metal. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and comfortable working with numbers and repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. You take pride in staying on top of details, communicating clearly, and pitching in wherever needed to keep billing and payroll running smoothly. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and process invoices accurately and on time
- Enter billing and payroll-related data with a high level of accuracy
- Log and track invoices and supporting documentation
- Review invoice details, supporting paperwork, and job-related documentation for completeness before submitting or logging records
- Assist with payroll-related records while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy with employee information
- Provide general administrative support to the Accounting Department as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid U.S. work authorization
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with employees, applicants, and team members in both languages
- Ability to handle sensitive billing, payroll, and employee information with professionalism and confidentiality
- Dependable, professional work ethic
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS These are a plus (but not required):
- Previous experience with billing/invoicing and/or payroll processing
- Familiarity with accounting, payroll, or timekeeping processes
- Comfort working with basic clerical tasks and responsibilities (filing, documentation, and recordkeeping)
- Intermediate Excel skills (sorting/filtering, basic formulas)
