Full job description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain tests, test lists, and test bundles within Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), including support for compendial updates, pricing changes, and evolving laboratory requirements
- Interpret analytical methods, compendia, and technical documentation to ensure accurate and compliant test builds.
- Collaborate with various laboratories to develop solutions that meet testing and reporting needs.
- Champion the company vision through collaboration, professionalism, and exceptional client service.
- Manage multiple priorities effectively while meeting quality and productivity objectives.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision in order to accomplish assigned tasks and meet team objectives.
- Assess and implement process improvements that enhance consistency, efficiency, and data quality.
- Provide technical expertise and support for Analytical Definition initiatives and laboratory requests
- Communicate progress, risks, and key updates to leadership and stakeholders
- Uphold GMP, GLP, quality, compliance, and data integrity standards in all activities.
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences preferred. Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered.
- Laboratory experience preferred. Previous work experience using the USP or Ph. Eur. is a plus
- Experience working in a LIMS preferred.
- Demonstrate self-motivation
- Excellent quality of work and attention to detail
- Ability to work on several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines
- Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and internal/external clients
- Ability to use a personal computer and learn necessary programs
- Good communication skills (oral and written); versatility in dealing with people
- Organizational ability
Position is Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
