Responsibilities

• Pour, spread, and level concrete on slabs, floors, sidewalks, driveways, and other surfaces
• Use hand and power tools including screeds, trowels, floats, and edgers to finish concrete surfaces
• Monitor concrete consistency and make adjustments to ensure proper curing and finishing
• Set forms and reinforcements prior to concrete pours
• Apply sealers, hardeners, or other finishing compounds as required
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized job site
• Collaborate with crew members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and quality standards

Requirements

• Previous experience in concrete finishing, flatwork, or general concrete construction
• Proficiency with concrete finishing tools including bull floats, power trowels, and hand trowels
• Ability to read and interpret basic construction plans or work orders
• Physical stamina to perform labor-intensive tasks in outdoor conditions
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player with a positive attitude
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Ability to work in the Florida heat and varying weather conditions
