Product Marketing Manager at Netbrain — Burlington, MA
Full job description
Founded in 2004, NetBrain is the leader in no-code network automation. Its ground-breaking Next-Gen platform provides IT operations teams with the ability to scale their hybrid multi-cloud connected networks by automating the processes associated with Diagnostic Troubleshooting, Outage Prevention and Protected Change Management. Today, over 2,500 of the world’s largest enterprises and managed services providers leverage NetBrain’s platform.
What We Need
We are hiring a Product Marketing Manager to help bring NetBrain's differentiated product story and capabilities to market in a crowded network automation and observability space. This role crafts positioning and messaging for assigned areas within the broader NetBrain narrative, then turns that work, along with launch plans, into finished, ready-to-use assets: sales decks, web copy, one-pagers, and enablement content that hold up across releases and use cases. You will partner with the Director of Product Marketing, GTM Enablement, Product, Sales, and Engineering to bring NetBrain's story to life across every place buyers and sellers encounter it. This is a hybrid role based our of our Burlington, MA headquarters.
What You'll Do
Competitive Differentiation & Positioning. Help bring NetBrain's differentiated story to life, and lead positioning and messaging for assigned product areas or segments within the overall framework. Crafting the language, not just applying it, then translating it into sales decks, web copy, one-pagers, and other customer-facing assets. Keep a working knowledge of the competitive landscape so day-to-day content stays sharp against real alternatives, and flag where messaging is drifting or competitors are shifting their story.
Agentic NetOps Narrative. Help bring the Agentic NetOps narrative to life in day-to-day marketing materials, developing and translating the message into content Sales and Marketing can use immediately. Partner with Analyst Relations on materials that support analyst conversations.
Capability Plays & Go-to-Market. Help spot candidate capability plays by staying close to Sales, Support, and the field, and surface patterns worth investing in. Lead the execution of approved capability go-to-market plans—naming, one-pagers, proof points, and enablement content—so capability plays move from idea to sellable motion quickly.
Marketecture and Launch. Support major product launches end to end: draft launch messaging, build enablement assets, and coordinate launch logistics across Sales, Marketing, and Field. Partner with the team on how new releases fit into the broader product marketecture.
Sales Tools. Working with GTM Enablement and Product, build the pitch decks, one-pagers, discovery guides, and other sales assets Sales and Solutions Engineering rely on day to day. Keep the toolkit current as positioning, capabilities, and releases change, and get hands-on feedback from Sales on what’s landing and what needs a refresh.
Voice of Market. Help keep Solutions Marketing's perspective connected to Product by gathering and organizing input from Sales, Customer Success, and the customer-voice program, and packaging it for conversations with Product leadership.
What You Bring
- You have 5-7 years in Product Marketing or a closely adjacent marketing role in B2B software; infrastructure, networking, or IT operations experience is a plus
- Clear and efficient communication skills - decks, one-pagers, web copy, and sales emails all sound consistent and land with the intended audience
- Experience crafting positioning or messaging for a specific product area or segment, not just executed messaging someone else wrote, and turned it into finished, ready-to-use assets
- Ability to manage several concurrent workstreams: a launch, a capability rollout, a set of enablement assets, without losing quality on any of them
- You default to asking “how does this show up for the buyer” rather than staying at the strategy level
- An inherent curiosity about technical products and an ability to become conversant in NetBrain's platform to write credibly for both practitioners and executives
- You take direction well but also push back with a point of view when something is not landing
- You have built sales-facing assets - decks, one-pagers, guides, that reps actually used in real deals, not just filed away
