JOB DETAILS
Base Starting Wage $35.50-$40 per hour
1st Shift: (6:00 AM - 4:00 PM). Monday-Fri every other Saturday
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintenance Technician II is an Electro-Mechanical position and responsibilities will include but not be limited to supporting manufacturing operations, adjusting and repairing equipment as needed, tracking usage of and ordering replacement parts.
- Diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical problems with manufacturing equipment
- Perform detailed setup on equipment including recipe changes and control adjustments
- Repair and keep mechanical machine components in top operating condition
- Perform simple to complex mechanical Preventative Maintenance Tasks following instructions
- Intermediate understanding of electrical principles such as voltage, current and resistance
- Diagnose and repair electrical control circuits, field devices, sensors, photo eyes, etc.
- Intermediate understanding of electrical safety and motor control circuits and programmable drives
- Troubleshoot the inputs and outputs on PLC and repair issues
- Complete projects to add electrical circuits and controls, new equipment and relocate machines
- Maintain and repair pneumatic systems including repairs of cylinders and other components
- Enter all work completed in computer-based maintenance program
- Monitor and report spare parts usage including completing parts order forms
- Adjust equipment based on Statistical Process Control data and team with QA
- Train new and Level 1 mechanics in more complex tasks and skills
- Associates degree in related field is desired
- Minimum 3 years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of and experience with Lock-Out, Tag-Out procedures
- Able to strictly adhere to safety policies/procedures and be committed to customer quality
- Must be available for regular standby assignments; work scheduled off-hours and emergency overtime as required
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- Must be willing to attend training sessions as needed, including out of state locations
- Ability to assist in Training Level I Technicians
- Intermediate knowledge of fabrication (ex. welding, basic machining)
- Possess strong work ethic and knowledge of intermediate troubleshooting
- Able to read printed materials, blueprints, schematics, and computer graphics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team, including the ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships employees, vendors, contractors, and suppliers
- Ability to show attention to detail in a very fast paced environment
- Flexible and willing to work overtime as required
