As a Supervisor HR Operations, you will supervise the day-to-day activities supporting Human Resources Operations, including health and welfare benefits and general administration. You will ensure accurate processes and audit compliance, issue resolution, and employee satisfaction; create and maintain a continuous improvement environment.
In this role you will:
- Supervise and evaluate the effectiveness of the Human Resources operations team.
- Distribute workload and resolve escalated issues.
- Ensure compliance requirements and service level expectations are met by the team.
- Provide a high level of team support, coach, and mentor team members.
- Develop employees by effectively measuring performance and engaging team members in developmental activities.
- Drive onboarding, training, and knowledge transfer of team members.
- Ensure team provides high customer service levels.
- Evaluate HR processes; ensure documentation and training materials are accurate and up to date.
- Identify and implement changes and corrections to system(s); maintain accurate vendor data.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement activities and projects for all processes owned by the team.
What you bring to the table:
- 5 years’ experience: operations and/or administration experience, including employee and/or vendor support
- Four-year degree: Business, Human Resources, Management, or related area
- Supervisory/management experience strongly preferred
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification preferred
- Knowledge of continuous improvement principles
- Knowledge of human resources concepts
- Knowledge of performance management and measurement techniques
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Supervisory and leadership skills
- Customer service and problem resolution skills
- Oral and written communication skills
- Data analysis skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to train and motivate staff and achieve results through others
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees
- Ability to handle a large volume and variety of work
- Ability to work in an environment with tight, constant, and changing deadlines
- Ability to remain flexible and adjust priorities as needed
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
Work Shift and Hours: Monday - Friday, standard business hours, in office
Compensation Details: The expected base salary for this position is starting at $65,000-$70,000 annually depending on experience. This position is also bonus eligible - based on specific and relevant business metrics.
